Elegant Rooms
Stay in a comfortable and refined setting in the heart of Médoc.
Château La Galiane takes its name from the English general Galian, who led his troops during the occupation of Aquitaine in the 15th century. A family property for five generations, the 5.71-hectare vineyard, with an average vine age of 55 years, is distributed among the premier crus of the appellation. It is planted with the finest Médoc grape varieties: Cabernet Sauvignon, Cabernet Franc, Merlot, and Petit Verdot, on gravelly and sandy-gravel soils, giving its wines unique richness and complexity.
The wines of Château La Galiane are distinguished by a beautiful ruby color, a delicate bouquet, and a fruity, harmonious, and elegant palate. They have excellent aging potential and pair wonderfully with white or red meats, as well as certain cheeses. Each bottle reflects the care devoted to the estate and the authenticity of the Médoc terroir.
Each vintage offered for sale is a testament to the family’s expertise and the richness of the Margaux terroir. Carefully preserved, these wines allow enthusiasts to discover the history and character of each year.
